Catherine Gonzales

I am a Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Food & Nutrition, currently pursuing a Master of Science degree at Grand Valley State University (expected graduation date & expected RD exam date: Spring 2027). I have 10 years' experience in pediatric nutrition working as a nutritionist, chef, and kitchen manager. My skills include menu design, medical nutrition therapy, food budgeting, and motivational interviewing. I have completed two clinical dietetic rotations (1 rehabilitation hospital and 1 skilled nursing/sub-acute rehab/long-term care facility) and one community nutrition rotation, and expect to complete another rotation in the acute-care setting before I graduate with my MS degree and obtain licensure as a registered dietitian.
