I currently work as a Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Specialist Dietitian (Band 7). I manage a diverse caseload, providing evidence-based nutritional support for both non-complex conditions, such as weight management and dietary modification for healthy eating, and complex patients across a range of specialist areas which include to date, Renal (kidney) disease, Diabetes and Medical/Surgical patients. I work with patients in various settings, either face-to-face in outpatient clinic, hospital inpatients, over the telephone and online. I am undertaking a Non-Medical Prescribing course which is due to be completed on 10th August this year. This qualification will enable me to prescribe medications within my scope of practise, providing timely, holistic and patient-centred care.
