I have been working as a dietitian at a hospital for the past 13 years, I can offer my experience and advice to the patients. I work with patients in rehabilitation units (post-stroke, hip and knee replacements) and in psychiatric units with patients suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, who have experienced significant weight gain due to neuroleptic medication and face an increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes, dyslipidemia, and metabolic syndrome. I have also worked in geriatric care. I practice at the hospital but have also conducted home visits and video consultations.
