As a postgraduate student in Applied Human Nutrition at Oxford Brookes University, I’m passionate about understanding how nutrition shapes health, performance, and long-term wellbeing. My studies have deepened my knowledge of the science behind dietary choices, nutrient metabolism, and public health interventions — helping me bridge the gap between academic research and real-world application. Throughout my degree, I’ve explored topics such as behaviour change, global nutrition challenges, and the relationship between diet, physical activity, and chronic disease. This has given me a strong foundation in both clinical and community-based nutrition, as well as the critical skills to evaluate research and design evidence-based interventions. With a professional background in sports therapy, I’m particularly interested in the intersection between nutrition, recovery, and performance. I enjoy applying my nutritional knowledge to support athletes and active individuals, helping them optimise energy intake, manage body composition, and enhance performance safely and sustainably. Beyond the classroom, I’m committed to continuous learning — staying up to date with emerging nutrition science and translating it into practical advice that empowers others to make positive changes. My long-term goal is to integrate sports therapy and nutrition into a holistic approach that supports clients’ overall health, recovery, and performance.
